SELF HELP GROUP

Self-help group has been formed under the leadership of the Bank for the expansion of Pokkali cultivation over twenty years ago.Self Help Group has been Formed by two Padashekhara Samiti of the Ezhikkara Panchayat, it has over 200 farmers. A convener is chosen from the farmers for the activities of the SHGs under the supervision of the Board of Directors of the Bank. Self-help groups are involved in decision making and implementation in all activities from seed to marketing.
